Around the House

After a long delay, thought of getting back in to action. With limited time I have to travel these days, the best photography I could get came around the neighborhood. Following is what I have in store for today. Hope you enjoy !

A few Dimi Gotta's (as we call it) where Weaver Ants would make a nest out of tree leave on top of trees.

Weaver ants or Green ants (genus Oecophylla) are eusocial insects of the family Formicidae (order Hymenoptera). Weaver ants are obligately arboreal and are known for their unique nest building behaviour where workers construct nests by weaving together leaves using larval silk.

The Hibiscus Flower !

is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is quite large, containing several hundred species that are native to warm-temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world.

What we call Beheth Nelli

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phyllanthus_emblica (the Indian gooseberry, or aamla from Sanskrit amalika, is a deciduous tree of the Phyllanthaceae family. It is known for its edible fruit of the same name.)

And a gorgeous Butterfly that Blessed the garden - a rare species of butterflies that would visit a home garden though...
